Safety is our number one concern for our residents. Our caregivers are taking all the necessary precautions to limit the risk of your loved one being exposed to COVID.
We are providing all of our homes with disposable masks, gloves, disinfectant wipes, and hand sanitizer. It is encouraged that our caregivers get tested weekly and limit in person contact as much as possible outside of work.
Can you visit your loved one
Per TTHS Rules, we allow the following visits:
Closed window visits.
Persons providing critical assistance.
Essential caregivers (a family member or other outside caregiver over the age 18. The caregiver has been designated to support the resident and provide care).
Family & friends:
We are allowing visitation for family and friends to visit their loved one at one of our homes. We do ask that you call ahead to speak with one of our caregivers to schedule a time. We are only allowing a two hour visitation period during the hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm. This allows us to make sure the visitation is as safe as possible for your loved one and limit the number people in the home at one time.
Visitations can take place in the residents room or outside. If your loved one resides in our Milestone (Lewisville) location visits can take place in the sunroom. We encourage staying six feet apart from other residents and staff when visiting, you do not have to maintain six feet from your loved one. Before entering the home, you will be screened in accordance with CDC and TTHS guidelines.
You are more than welcome to drop off packages or have them delivered to the home. We want to encourage families to send packages to the home and make regular phone calls to feel as connected as possible. This is also a safer alternative to communicate and let your loved one know you are thinking about them.
